Today, 23rd of June, in Madrid will take place another leg of the Iaaf World Challenge, a set of competitions brother of the Diamond League. But this does not mean less important athletes: in fact many stars will attend Madrid International Meeting.
The home queen Ruth Beitia, will defend the Spanish flag in the high jump, with Orlando Ortega trying to lower the national record on the 110hs.
Former world champion Raphael Holdzeppe will compete without pressions in the Pole Vault.
A great show is expected in the men 800m. Amel Tuka, last year winner, will face Mohammed Aman and Portland 2016 silver medal Antoine Gekeme from Burundi
The young Yulimar Rojas, world champion in Portland 2016, will show her shape on the triple jump.
