There are few days to Usain Bolt’s return; the fixed day of his seasonal debut is the 14th of May. For the occasion of the Cayman Invitational in George Town, he will compete on 100m that will be the opening of his Olympic year.
This is also his return to the competitions after the last world titles won in Beijing. In fact, he has not set foot on the track since the 23th of August; this is the latest seasonal debut of his professional career.
His fellow country man, Kemar Bailey-Cole, and the Cayman Island National record holder, Kemar Hyman, will be waiting for him behind the starting blocks.
Interesting challenges are expected in the other events as well: the American Allyson Felix will be present, even though she has not decided on which distance to compete yet, Carmelita Jeter and Natasha Morrison will run on 100m, while Jason Young and Zharnel Hughes will challenge on 200m.
